We are hikers in Vancouver BC, exploring the trails over all of the BC flat that surrounds us, watching out for bears, berries, and interesting rocks.
The title of this blog, "It's always winter in the mountains," is a much shorter (and more memorable) form of a quote from the novel Brightness Reef by David Brin: "There were just two seasons in the mountains. One was
called Winter. The other was also winter, with some green stuff
growing to trick the unwary."
